How Often Should Your Company Be Publishing New Blog Posts?
Many companies struggle to find their marketing stride. On the one hand, you don’t want to overwhelm your audience by going way too wild when it comes to self-promotion on social media or clogging their news-feeds with irrelevant information. However, you don’t want to neglect an effort that can theoretically yield wonderful results.
So, how often should your company post on their blog?
In an ideal world, multiple times a week would be great. New content provides new opportunities to attract customers by including important key words in your posts and tackling an array of relevant topics, that may pique their interest.
In reality though, for many—and especially small—businesses, this quota proves difficult to hit. Time constraints alone can make it impossible to create compelling posts on a regular basis.
Aim to write two blog posts a month. They don’t have to be long and complicated (in fact, depending on your target demographic, they probably shouldn’t be), but they must be helpful and engaging.
The most important component is that you have a content strategy; loop ideas together so that you can include links to your other articles in each piece.
Plus, you can easily and effectively repurpose these down the line, which will give you another excuse to push these out.
